1) any links to http://Www.BitchinRockPhotos.Com will forward to the new site
2) any direct links to content on the old site (ie “http://www.mrrobin.org/???/???”) will remain ok but will link to the old sites that are no longer being updated.
3) Unfortunately due to circumstances beyond our control user re-registration will be required on the new site.

Last night we were all set to see Heaven’s Basement and Decadenze at Hallcross.
Unfortunately, Heaven’s Basement had to cancel due to a family illness. For Heaven’s Basement to cancel a gig is unheard of, anyone who knows them knows this .
Decadenze, originally support for the night, stepped up and agreed to play all night. From 9.30pm until Midnight (with only a 30 min break ) they belted out Rock song after Rock song. They began the night playing their own material. After the break they announced they’d be playing covers. Now I’m not a fan of covers, but these guys played them all with Balls. Whipped the crowd into a frenzy.
Heaven’s Basement were missed, but we all know the gig will be rescheduled and they’ll play Hallcross one night.
BUT a huge THANK YOU to Decadenze for an amazing night

I have enabled the Gallery for Cooliris a great (well I love it) Browser Plug-in that will enable you to browse our galleries in a new way.
Find out about it and Download it from their website here and once you have installed it just navigate to the Gallery page you wanna see and hit the “LaunchCooliris” button on you browser’s navigation bar.

The site has been upgraded to the newest version of Wordpress today. This is a fairly major update … and should make the site a little faster and easier to use … though registered users may need to delete cookies relating to “http://mrrobin.org/wordpress/” if you have trouble logging in

It’s gone 4am and I’m kna…..worn out
Last night, well a few hours ago, we went to Bar 11 in Reykjavik to see the noise guys. Bar11 is a tiny little venue and a postage stamp sized stage, but it is a cool little place.
Excellent gig.

Last night, Bitchin Rock Daughter and myself made the short journey to York to see our lovely friends Breakout Degree. Was so good to see the guys, it’s been a while. We only stayed to see Breakout Degree, as much as I hate leaving a gig before the other bands have played, we had way too much to do before our trip to Iceland on Friday.

Big thanks to Crazy Cat for doing the Merch tonight which meant I could get a few snaps …
… this was the last gig of the tour I shot as I was once again doing the Merch in Camden … so Id just like to take the opportunity to thank all the HB guys, Wired Desire and all the people who came to help do merch along the way … I have never enjoyed a tour more while feeling SO ill of so long. Thanks for looking after me every one

Again I’ll apologise but this time for not not taking too many pictures while I was ill … most nights BR Mistress took over camera duties while wheezed away at the back on merch duties for much of the tour.
By Sheffield I was feeling up to taking a few snaps from the back of the room … Im quite chuffed with them considering all the smoke fed directly into the audience from an over active smoke machine towards the back of the hall … I couldn’t understand why it wasn’t on the stage.
Well quite simply this was the best gig of the headline tour … the Sunday night audience went for it as did the band feeding off the great atmosphere and sound.

As we pulled up to the 12 Bar Culb we all wondered if we should just carry on to Prestatyn for Hard Rock Hell. The venue appeared to be a small pub on the end of a fairly shabby terrace.
Thankfully we were able to park right outside and went for one of the best beef n Stilton burgers I’ve ever had, in the shopping center just around the corner.
When we returned to check out the venue we weren’t expecting great things …
… what a surprise awaited us. The pub did indeed occupy the end of a terrace but it was a tardis of a place it is. The venue itself was newly set up … even with professionally designed acoustic treatments … recording studio style. But to be fare for my ears the sound was far too loud without earplugs for this to be a justified expense. That said the upstairs “back stage” area put many arena venues to shame …
The HB guys put on another great show … re-adjusting to the smaller venues … and the crowd seemed to really get into it … oddly the shear volume of the PA kept them pinned to the front of the stage or the back wall of the room so there was a gap in the middle of the room all night.
